Overview of NDLEA
The NDLEA main job is eliminating the use of illicit drugs and selling of harmful drugs in Nigeria. They do this by recruiting and shortlisting qualified nigerians.
How to know whether I qualify for NDLEA shortlist?
The first step to know if you are qualified is by ensuring you partook in the recruitment process. If you had partake in the NDLEA Recruitment, and you did use the right name and document to apply. Then you are qualified for the shortlisting. Read further to learn how you can check your name.
How to check for NDLEA shortlist?

- Go through the list to get to your name or you can download the list and check during your own convenience time.
- Be aware that the list might be in an a-z pattern
- Use your first name to search

Important Information about NDLEA
- Be aware that the next phase will be the screening, interview and documentation process
- Also note that that the list will be divided into batches and will go to different centers for screening, Medicals and Documentation
- All successful candidate will be splitted across the states in nigeria in short of staffs.
More important information to note about NDLEA
As a candidate (whether you are narcotics cops or assistants), you should take note of the following:
The NDLEA will need the following:
- You will need to bring original and a copy of your documents, which should include your National Identification Number (NIN) and a printout of your NDLEA online application reference slip.
- You will need to bring four recent colour passport photos that don’t have hats or caps on them.
- You will need to bring things for writing, like biro, pencils, a ruler, notebooks, and file cases.
- You will need to bring three sets of navy blue shorts without bands and white round-neck vests that aren’t marked.
- You will need to bring two sets of black and white socks.
- You should also bring two pairs of all-black canvas sneakers, not rubber ones.
- You will need to bring two white sheets and two pillowcases.
- You will need to bring two pairs of black pants and two white long-sleeved shirts.
- One blanket in army green or grey.
- You will need to bring two sets of national dress or suit clothes and shoes for everyday wear.
- You will need to buy a bucket, cutlass, and broom when you get there.
- Some pocket money and medicine.
- You will need to bring net for bugs, mosquitos etc.
- If you are shortlisted and you do not show up, you will be dismissed.
- As a candidate who is pregnant, you will not be allowed to join the training.
Also note, you will be required to carried drug integrity test and pregnancy test for the women. If you are positive for any of these test, you will be taken out.
