The Delta State Ministry of Youth Development is announcing to the public that the application process for the Rural Youth Skill Acquisition Programme (RYSA) has started and is open to all applicants who wish to partake in this training.
Overview of RYSA Application
The Rural Youth Skills Acquisition Programme is the Centre for Rural Youth Entrepreneurship and Environmental Development that organises RYSA with federal government assistance and financial help from UNCDF, UNIDO, and the EU.
The mission is set to bring skill development programmes to rural youths, with the goals of establishing income-generating possibilities, reducing young nervousness, discouraging rural-urban migration, and giving power to the local currency.
The targeted youth consist of Nigerian youngsters of local origin from rural communities who are in need of company start-ups and core business skills.
Documents Required for Submission
- Two (2) passport pictures
- Photocopy of your voter card.
- state of origin certificate.
- Birth certificate.
- Educational qualifications are available.

How to apply for the RYSA training
Interested applicants who are youths within the age bracket of 18–35 years are to obtain the form from their local government.

RYSA Application Deadline
The RYSA application deadline for 2024/2025 has not yet been announced but based on previous deadlines, we predict that the deadline will be around December.
